We are looking for a; Business Process Improvement (BPI) Project Manager Job profile: As a BPI Project Manager you will be working with operations teams to improve warehouse processes and systems. Our goal is to deliver operational excellence to our customers, delivering quality services with effective and efficient internal processes in constantly changing market environments. You will be asked to lead or participate in projects but you are also expected to become a valued support to the operations teams. You will be part of the dedicated BPI team based in Waalwijk but with expectations to work on projects at other European locations. The role is part of the global BPI organisation using Lean Six Sigma methods to deliver world class services cost effectively. Demands BPI Project Manager: - Relevant education (HBO+) or equivalent work experience - Manufacturing process engineering and (or) warehouse/logistics experience - Lean and (or) Six Sigma trained with project track record - Project Management experience in complex business environments - Able to cope with time pressure in high volume dynamic operations - Good analytical skills and able to translate ideas to action effectively - Strong communication skills at all levels of management and operations - Enthusiastic personality and high level of energy - Able to work in English as well as Dutch Contract: At first a contract for a year with the possibility to transfer to a permanent contract. The Challenge SABIC's IT - CoE is now hiring a ‘Business Process Controller’. In this position you have to manage the global Business Process repository. This implies you have to facilitate the continuous improvement of Human-centric business processes, you lead the development of SABIC global IT policies, procedures, processes and governance structure, as well as monitor the state of the business process landscape and action necessary procedures to maintain the well-being of the landscape. To be successful in this role you need to bring in expertise in process modelling and management tools for repository. You will be providing inputs to the governance bodies and mechanisms for each domain of IT and business for decision making, and design and monitor metrics and ensure functional ownership is established for continuous improvement. You will manage multiple, large or complex projects or as highly skilled individual contributor for the purpose of providing new business processes and/or redesigning processes within an organization. You research industry trends for BPM, best practices and improvement opportunities from all sectors, and empower the Process Oriented culture in the organization. You will report directly to the Leader Process & Governance, whom is based in Riyadh (KSA). Your Profile University Degree in IT or Engineering or a commercially oriented discipline such as Finance, Business administration, or related fields. Preferably also an (executive) MBA as it completes the insight in other functions like HR, Finance, Marketing Sales, Operations, etc. as it supports the required business acumen. 10 years of relevant working experience in an Industrial (preferably petrochemicals) or IT environment. 7 years experience in business functions, preferably in a global company / multinational. 7 years experience in business process redesign programs. As an experienced professional you have/are: Excellent understanding of business processes and their metrics and measures. Strong domain knowledge and leadership. Strong change management and project management skills. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. In-depth knowledge of various IT disciplines and expertise in disciplines as ERP, BA, IM or Infrastructure. Knowledge of policies, procedures, systems and best practices in the diverse areas of IT. Excellent in working with global multi-disciplinary & cultural teams and build business relationships, meaning good cultural awareness. Experience in following (IT) skills: Business Process Management (BPM) and Business Process Modeling; ARIS Business Architect for SAP (key requirements); ARIS synchronization with SAP Solution Manager (key requirements). | Business Process Team Lead Department Responsible for designing efficient, globally consistent processes in a specific focus area related to one of the business process such as plan, manage material, reliability, produce, deliver, finance and reporting. Defines the globally standard business policies, processes, and (master) data for the process area in alignment with the operating drivers identified for the business transformation project. Clearly shows a line of sight to deliver the benefits as identified for their respective process area. Includes the necessary links to the other process areas and the identification of necessary role and responsibility changes to successfully implement the new processes.
