POSITION SUMMARY The achievement of financial and business targets set in regard to specific consumer partners (Carriers, Distributors and Retailers) Growing number and seniority of relationships within the Channel(s). Be responsible for building and managing relationships with key sales executives within the specific channel organization to increase mindshare/ awareness/ market share in regard to the BlackBerry portfolio. the development, communication and implementation (under the leadership of the Senior Sales Manager Lead and in conjunction with RIM internal marketing & sales teams) of the jointly agreed Sales & Marketing Objectives/ Strategies/ Plans/ Programs in support of the strategic business plan - leveraging all elements of the Marketing Mix. The motivation of all layers of the sales channel (regional, area and store) to ensure that BlackBerry advocacy is high and that the BlackBerry share of volume is increased. Being viewed as the BlackBerry subject-matter expert who can be utilized by the channel(s) for various sales, knowledge transfer and account management activities and liaise with channel sales management and executives to understand challenges and opportunities associated with selling and positioning BlackBerry in the retail channels. Participation in store visits with the channels and work with channel sales personnel to identify opportunities and develop account goals, strategies and tactics to drive BlackBerry adoption present sales incentives and promotions to channel sales teams, engage in regular quarterly business reviews and monthly forecasting activities and manage expenses associated with supporting the various sales channels. Working close with different departments in-country and abroad

Educatie: ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Extensive sales experience, preferably working with retail sales channels in mobile phone or FMCG technology sales Channel Management experience and/or Sales account management in a similar discipline Experience in presenting to groups and executives Relationship management skills Highly organized self-starter Proven overachiever - past track record of individual contributor sales success Degree in Business Administration or equivalent Fluency in English Experience in working in an international environment and virtual teams. | Area Sales Manager - Benelux Key Responsibilities and Deliverables Altra Industrial Motion develops, produces and sells Industrial Power Transmission products such as brakes and clutches, couplings, Gears, Belts and Pulleys to clients who operate in a diverse group of industries. The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for prospecting new customers and managing current industrial and distribution customers and large OEM who belong to Altra's targeted markets across the Benelux countries (machine tools, forklifts, elevators, marine applications, engine integrators, medical applications). Job Criteria * Manage existing customers, work with channel partners and secure profitable new developmental business; * Strategic market involvement; * May require travelling outside the stated area of responsibility; * Achieve the sales targets, work on quotations, and follow-up with Altra's Engineering department in the development of prototypes; * The ability to gain excellent technical appreciation of products and application in short time; * MUST have both experience and the ability to demonstrate excellent sales skills in an electro-mechanical / power transmission environment; * Opportunities for career progression within a progressive international sales organization.
