For many years, the Leopold brand name stands for superb water filtration technology. Leopold wants to stregthen its international organisation with an experienced REGIONAL SALES MANAGER EMEA. In this job you will become responsible for the further development of the Leopold segment of the Xylem organization in the entire EMEA region, in line with the global Xylem strategy, in close cooperation with the Global Sales & Marketing Manager. Your main objective is to double the EMEA water treatment business by 2015, as well as to significantly develop the filtration and clarification business in EMEA. To achieve these challenging goals, you have to be the active liaison between the customers and the regional Xylem contract- and project-management. You work closely together with EMEA Sales Companies for product and project opportunity identification of other W&WW product lines and youll support the 19 local offices for rehabilitation and new plant facilities, by planning and following the projects. Furthermore, you will be involved in market research and analysis, and in developing budgets and forecasts. Last but not least, youll be coordinating or participating in conferences, presentations, seminars and exhibitions, in close conjunction with the EMEA management team. We are looking for a candidate with a technical education (e.g. HTS) and a broad experience in the area of water and wastewater process technology, preferably filtration technology. The ideal candidate is fluent in English, a strong communicator and negotiator, and willing to travel on a very regular basis throughout the entire EMEA region. Regional Sales Manager
Objectives The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for all Capital Sales activities in the designated region for the brand. You are also responsible for sales within an area. You will lead a team of Area Sales Managers. The RSM will be creative in providing local customers with the tools to favorably influence their sales results. The RSM will contribute to the establishment of the sales plan, encourage its results-oriented implementation and provide thorough evaluation and efficient guidance. Intensive client contact & traveling will be required. The RSM is stimulated by new challenges, full of initiative, pro-active and is always ready to grasp new opportunities. The RSM reports to the Regional Director. Key Result & Performance Area * Managing turnover and margin. * Product Portfolio input. * Operational Sales force management of Agents. * Area funnel management (both Sales funnels). * Reporting. * Financial management of Region sales. Key Responsibilities * Identify revenue opportunities in target accounts, develop sales plans, and execute to close revenue. * Meet or exceed revenue quota objectives in assigned territory for products and services. * Analysis of the clients profitability so as to implement appropriate sales actions. * Leverage partner relationships to execute on their sales strategy and to accelerate achievement of revenue. * Making prospecting a part of the regular routine ensuring that new prospects are being added to the pipeline on a consistent basis. * Managing a complex solution sales process. Moving the sale through the entire sales process ending after the transition to Project Manager. This includes taking an active role in the take over process. * Continually learning about new products and improving selling skills. The ASM will be required to attend training events throughout the year. * Maintaining accounts receivables in compliance with objectives. * Preparing written presentations and reports. * Defining and executing territory sales plans. * Develop positive relationships with other employees in Marketing, Product Support, Global Services, Finance, Engineering and other departments as needed. * Market analysis and analysis of competitors situation. * Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams. * Sales of emerging products and wall-to-wall sales. * Proper use and level of sales support. * Management of expenses of the area according to budget.
