    Aan orde komen het schrijven van data-centric applicaties met ADO.NET en XML. Na de behandeling van de ADO.NET architectuur, wordt aandacht besteed aan commando’s die data in XML retourneren, het gebruik van XML technieken voor het omgaan met DataSetschema’s, het gebruik van XSD-schema’s en de interactie met XML DataDocuments. Na de behandeling van de basis taalaspecten van Ruby, komt de nadruk in de cursus te liggen op de OO-aspecten met classes, objects, inheritance en polymorphism.
